More blues, this time with purple and lavender. I love the foggy, kind of smeared, look of this one. I seem to be stuck on this intersection/crossroad theme and am wondering if there is a deeper meaning here. Watercolor under-painting, acrylic pastel ground, soft pastel on Rives BFK paper, unframed.
A lover of nature, I constantly seek ways to convey my deep love of the landscape, along with the feeling of spirit and serenity it gives me. My goal, whether painting or photographing, is to convey the richness of the landscape, the layers of color, the textures, the feeling of vastness and the transcendent feeling of being alone in the beauty of nature. I was a Realtor for 23 years, in Massachusetts and North Carolina. After retirement, I sold everything and became a full-time RVer for four years, traveling the US and a bit of Canada. Most of these photographs were taken during my travels. At present, I'm happily settled in Tucson, AZ, and spend most of my time painting, drawing and writing. Any watermarks that appear online...
