Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. This was done during the 30 Paintings in 30 Days Challenge earlier this year. I was having a ball experimenting with different ways to paint a piece of fruit. So much fun!

A lover of nature, I constantly seek ways to convey my deep love of the landscape, along with the feeling of spirit and serenity it gives me. My goal, whether painting or photographing, is to convey the richness of the landscape, the layers of color, the textures, the feeling of vastness and the transcendent feeling of being alone in the beauty of nature. I was a Realtor for 23 years, in Massachusetts and North Carolina. After retirement, I sold everything and became a full-time RVer for four years, traveling the US and a bit of Canada.
